    Conference championships were clinched far and wide across Oakland County in recent days in both boys and girls basketball. Here are some of the more notable title-grabs accomplished as of late.

    The boys hoops squad at Birmingham Roeper (17-2) got things started in the third week of February when the Roughriders won their first league title in fifteen years.

  • Faith Hoops Gearing Up for Youth Basketball League

    Faith Hoops and Celebrate Kids Ministries is offering a youth basketball league for boys and girls grades 1-8 starting March 20th and running through May 29th at Twin Lakes Church in Aptos, CA. The league includes drills and instruction, weekly 5 on 5 games and a “Family Night” outing to see the Golden State Warriors live. All games and practices take place on Saturday’s at Twin Lakes Church. Over 150 kids are expected to participate in the league this season.
